We present the 2023/24 Regulatory Financial Performance Reporting (RFPR) templates and commentary for National Grid Electricity Distribution (NGED). These documents contain information for the four Distribution Network Operators (DNOs) owned by NGED; NGED West Midlands (WMID), NGED East Midlands (EMID), NGED South Wales (SWALES) and NGED South West (SWEST).
The purpose of the RFPR is to provide a framework to allow Ofgem to collect accurate and consistent information from licensed network operators. This is our, and the Electricity Distribution sector’s first RFPR submission under the RIIO-ED2 price control framework.
NGED continues to promote transparency of performance and returns as a way of demonstrating the legitimacy of energy network returns. We hope this report provides clear and transparent reporting on NGED’s financial and operational performance, including NGED’s performance against incentives under the RIIO-ED2 price control arrangements.
